Becca Carelock MA, LPC

Hello and welcome! My name is Becca Carelock (she/her) and I am a neurodivergent, Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Kentucky University. I believe that everyone in life experiences challenges, and those challenges deeply impact us as humans. Like everyone, I have experienced my own personal struggles. I know what it’s like to feel so heavy you cannot get out of bed, so sad that nothing makes you happy anymore, and so overwhelmed that you feel lost, confused, and frustrated.

I deeply enjoy working with teenagers, young adults, and couples. Being a teenager and a young adult in our society is immensely hard today with so much pressure to make the right choices and often feeling like you aren’t allowed to make mistakes. During this time of our lives, we’re all trying to fit in and really discover our identity. I love going on a journey alongside people to figure out who they are, what their values are, and what type of person they want to be!

My therapeutic orientation at the core is humanistic, and I use a variety of approaches based on your specific needs, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and narrative therapy. I provide clients with a safe and non-judgmental place to process their thoughts and feelings.

I am not currently accepting new clients. However, if you feel like I am a good fit for you, you can be added to my wait list, or you can check out the other amazing therapists on our team page.

I offer individual, couples, and family counseling both in-person and virtually Tuesdays thru Fridays.

Individual rate: $150

Couple and family rate: $190

Currently not accepting any insurances.
